Joe Pine Builders we work with Appalachian Log Structures for all the log and heavy timber components. We can customize any of our pre designed floor plans or we can start from scratch with your ideas. Our goal is to satisfy individual tastes and fulfill your idea of a dream house made of nature’s most beautiful wood.

In addition to high-tech milling procedures, we also specialize in a pressure-treated wood preservation system to protect your home from decay and wood-digesting insects.

Precision Milling	Inventory
When rough-cut timbers are delivered to our manufacturing plant, some are as large as 8 1/2″ x 12″ or more. After the lumber is air-dried in our storage yard, skilled craftsmen on the cutting line prepare the timber to be used for log walls. Eastern White Pine is our preferred choice of wood. All logs are cut and shaped with the precision that has earned ALSI its reputation as a top-quality manufacturer of log homes.	We’ve got it! Appalachian Log Structures maintains a large inventory of wood at our Princeton plant. It’s here that the materials for your log home or commercial structure originate. Eastern White Pine is readily available at our storage facility, which means we can deliver a completed log home package in less time than most log home manufacturers.

UNIQUE DESIGN ASSURES SNUG WINDOWS AND DOORS As logs naturally settle, standard 2 x 6 door and window frames can become bowed, causing them to bind. The ALSI system solves that problem. Our log stack is notched and sealed into a stout 4″ pre-slotted jamb so the logs can float freely. This allows the window and doors to fit snugly and work smoothly over the years.
